About Poynton Sports Club
Situated in the heart of the picturesque village, Poynton Sports Club is one of Cheshire’s premier multi-sport community clubs. For over 130 years, the club has been able to offer excellent facilities across a range of sports including Football, Cricket, Lacrosse, Bowls, Short Mat Indoor Bowls, Tennis & General Fitness. Whether looking to play socially or competitively, all new visitors and members young and old are always welcome.
Our aim is to become the leading Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) in the region with developments ongoing to enhance our current playing facilities. The club plays an important role in the local area, being a hub of social and sporting activity with events scheduled throughout the year such as The Poynton Beer Fest. Poynton Sports Club can also offer excellent facilities for hosting parties, meetings and more including a fully licensed bar and function room available for private hire all year round. The club can be very busy, especially during the summer months so book early to avoid disappointment.

If you would like to become a Social Member of the Club, membership forms are available inside the clubhouse from the bar staff. For an annual fee of just £10, you’ll receive a Membership Card which grants you 10% off all alcoholic drinks at the bar!
