Welcome to Poynton Sports Club’s web site…..

Well its another great year for Ashes test series, the British Lions Tour, Premiership football from the best league in the world, Wimbledon etc....etc....etc. So now's the time to take some exercise and play a sport! Poynton Sports Club offers six sports from Cricket, Bowls, Football, Lacrosse, Tennis and Table Tennis with most of the sections having strong junior there's no excuse Keep fit, enjoy sport and come on down to join the premier sports club in Cheshire!


As we move from winter to summer the club comes alive with sports being played every night of the week with juniors and seniors playing cricket & Tennis with Bowls being played most afternoons as well as evenings. The club is also a great social meeting place with members, friends and guests whiling away sunny Saturday afternoons watching sport, chatting with friends and enjoying the club facilities. If you've not visited pick a nice summers day and come on down and support your local sports club.

The club continues to thrive with ongoing developments and improvements like the ex squash courts project which has seen total refurbishment and is tenanted by the "Shanti Academy" who offer Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness training to members and non members. Other project are the improvements to the main entrance to the club, painting of the clubhouse, continued security improvements and further social facilities within the clubhouse.

If you would like to be a Social Member of the Club its £12.00 and Vice President Membership is £29.00. Just ask for a membership form at the bar or speak to our Club Manager, Wilf Seville.

Whatever the weather come down and support local sport, played by local people, never mind live sport on TV watch live sport at the club, with no annoying advert breaks or sports pundits (well almost none)!
